Happy Easter!

Happy Easter to everyone!=)

I jus wanna share with you something that i found really interesting..

As you know, we celebrated easter and after worship, the announcer read the church vision out loud.

" For God's glory, we want to multiply strong disciple-making cell churches committed love God passionatley and love people practically through apostolic church-planting in Perth and the nation beyond."

Afterthat she introduced a women who was going to tell us her testimony. She was called to be witness for Jesus so she told us her story on how she manage to preach to 3 total stranger and they all turned out to be a Muslim. One of them even ask her to pray for them. And the funny part was everytime we clapped our hand, the pastor tot she had already finish sharing so he grabbed the mike from her..but then she grabbed it back..this happens 3 times and we were all laughing..haha..

Anyway, our church did encourage us to go out and share the gospel to others. and those who did went out to the front to get their ticket stamp and throwed a pingpong ball into a glass vase. Amazingly in the end,the vase was overflowed with pingpong balls=) Thank God for all the ppl who made effort. haha. I havent started any yet. However, i did explained to Kiat wat was Good Friday and Easter all about when he asked me what does bunnies and eggs have to do with Easter. And the joke i made out of it was" Why Bunnies and eggs?" Rabbits are mammals-produce live youngs? It should be Duck and Eggs or Chicken and Eggs?Dont you think it make more sense lik that?haha. Anyway, i did told him that Bunnies and Eggs were just a distraction for ppl not to celebrate the real meaning of that occasion which is Jesus. Hmm..christians's celebrations are always hidden by worldly characters? haih=(..We must do something to change that!

Good Friday is the day when Jesus was crucified on the cross. Why did he died? cos he loved us so much that the paid the price for us, as sinner.We sin and the devil wants to punish us but Jesus was punished on our behalves.We played the part in hanging Jesus on the cross=( Becos of this Jesus washed away all our sins so that we can go back to God

Easter Sunday is the day when Jesus was ressurected that means rose up from the dead. He is Alive!!!!=D Jesus overcome death!

Christmas is the day when Jesus was born=)

Its not about Santa Claus, Bunnies ,Eggs, Chocolate!!!

lol, the main point i wanted shared today was that Christianity is based on God's grace(undeserved gift) not by laws or justice. We don deserve God's love but he gave it to us anyway bcos we are God's children(He created us in His own image). And I serve a living God.

JESUS IS ALIVE!!! =)
