Fried carrot cake





Carrot cake
2 cups of shredded radish/daikon
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp white pepper
3 tbsp oil
2 cups of rice flour
2 cups of water

Methods:
1. Place shredded radish into a food processor or blender
2. Heat the wok. Pour oil into wok and give it a swirl so that the side of the wok it coated with oil
3. Add processed/blended radish, salt and pepper and stir fry it for 3 minutes
4. Turn down the fire to moderate . Cover wok and let mixture heat approximately 10 minutes or until radish is soft.
5. Place flour and water into a bowl. Stir til smooth.
6. Add soften radish into the bowl and stir it.
7. Steam in for approximately an hour.

To fry carrot cake : cut carrot cake into cubes then simply add oil, dried shrimp, garlic, (i added carrot instead of) bean sprout, eggs, sambal, thick black sauce, soya sauce, salt, pepper, and chinese sausage(optional). Add all these to own taste.







Spaghetti Carbonara


Spaghetti Carbonara
1 tablespoon butter
200g button mushrooms, sliced
1 cup cream
2 eggs
125g parmesan cheese, grated
1/3 cup finely chopped parsley
250g spaghetti, cooked
200g ham/ bacon, chopped

Methods:
1.Heat saucepan with butter . Add mushroom. Cook until soft
2. Fry bacon.
3. Combine cream, eggs, three quarters of the parmesan, parsley, and salt and pepper.
4.Place pasta into a saucepan. Add egg mixture, mushrooms and ham/bacon. Toss over low heat until sauce
thickens. Season. Serve with remaining parmesan.
5. Add milk if extra sauce is needed.
