Strawberry Cake

Strawberry cake
125g butter
1/2 cup caster sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla essence
2 cups self raising flour
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup fresh strawberries, pureed

1. Preheat oven to 180˚C
2. Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy
3. Add eggs and vanilla essence and beat until smooth.
4. Fold in flour and milk.
5. Add pureed strawberries. Mix well
6. Pour into greased baking tin.
7. Bake for 40-45 minutes.
